This bag is made from a reproduction of a William Morris print, Blackthorn which was first sold by Morris & Co in 1892, 4 years before Morris's death.
In folklore the blackthorn tree is known as the Mother of the Woods or the Dark Crone of the Woods, it's linked to the triple godess and is used in protection spells.
It's also said to be the thick hedge that grew around The Sleeping Beauty's castle.
The bag is lined with black Dupion silk, the drawstring cord is also black and the beads are bright gold coloured glass and gold coloured metal.
The bag shown is a medium sized bag.
It's shown with the Crowley Thoth Tarot in the standard size. The deck measures 11cm x 7cm x 2.5cm / 4.5" x 2.75" x 1".
The cards are there just to show the size of the bag and are not for sale.
